Thanks to a collaboration between the BWC Implementation Support Unit and the United Nations Library Geneva, the collection of historical BWC documents available to the public has expanded tremendously. Find them in the Official Document System of the United Nations (ODS).

UN Organs

Biological Weapons Convention Implementation Support Unit (ISU) in the Geneva Branch of the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs.

The ISU is responsible for the administration of official BWC meetings and assists States Parties with the implementation of the Convention. 

United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs

The UNODA promotes the goal of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation and the strengthening of the disarmament regimes in respect to other weapons of mass destruction, chemical and biological weapons.

1540 Committee

Resolution 1540 (2004) imposes binding obligations on all States to establish domestic controls to prevent the proliferation of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, and their means of delivery, including by establishing appropriate controls over related materials.
