Founded as the Library of the League of Nations in 1919, the UN Library & Archives Geneva has served the international community for a century.

Reliable information is essential to the work of the Organization, and the Library & Archives plays an important role in providing staff, diplomats, and the public with resources and services for information access, evaluation, and use.
Primary Sources :
We maintain and provide access to the League of Nations Archives and United Nations Geneva Archives, as well as a comprehensive collection of United Nations Documents
Secondary Sources :
Through Global Search we provide a Gateway to our rich collections of resources on topics related to multilateralism and the areas of work of the Organization, in print and electronic format.
Research Support and Training :
Librarians and Archivists curate Featured Collections and Topical Guides, as well as a collection of Conference Primers, which highlight essential sources related to UN conferences in Geneva.
We also provide Training & Learning opportunities for individuals and groups. And we offer guidance and support for access, evaluation, and use of information resources through our Ask a Librarian/Ask an Archivist services.
Please refer to the United Nations COVID-19 page and to website of the World Health Organization (WHO) for authoritative information on COVID-19. WHO has a dedicated page with advice for the public. These resources are available in the six official UN languages. WHO also publishes daily situation reports on the virus.
