International Gender Champions is a network of senior leaders working to advance gender equality in the executive management of their institutions and their programmatic work through concrete and measurable commitments. Among the International Gender Champions - Geneva are leaders of many International Organizations, Permanent Missions, and civil society entities, including UNOG Director-General Michael Møller.

United Nations System-Wide Strategy on Gender Parity
The System-wide Strategy on Gender Parity covers targets and accountability; special measures; enabling environment; senior appointments; and mission settings. It balances accountability with incentives, recognizes different starting points and challenges, and provides tools to empower and encourage staff and managers alike.
Guidelines for gender-inclusive language
These Guidelines include strategies to help UN staff use gender-inclusive language.
In keeping with the Organization’s core value of multilingualism, the Guidelines have been produced in the six official languages of the United Nations as semi-autonomous projects that comply with the principle of parity among the official languages. They reflect the specificities and unique features of each language, recommending remedies that are tailored to the linguistic context.
