Statistics Resource Guide

UNECE's Transport Statistics include: road traffic accidents, road traffic, road vehicle fleet, railway traffic, railway vehicles, inland waterway traffic, inland waterway vessels, oil pipeline transport, transport infrastructure, and railway employment.

The Review of Maritime Transport has been published annually since 1968. It reports on the worldwide evolution of shipping, ports and multimodal transport related to the major traffics of liquid bulk, dry bulk and containers.

Includes statistics, data and indicators on road transport.

The data feature several different aspects:
Three different measurement types: transport of goods – tonnes transported and tonne-kilometres (TKM), transport of people – number of transported passengers and passenger-kilometres (PKM), traffic – stock of vehicles and vehicle-kilometres (VKM)
Six different transport modes: road, rail, pipeline, inland waterway, sea, and air.
