League of Nations Treaty Series is a collection of treaties and subsequent treaty actions registered with and published by the Secretariat of the League of Nations pursuant to Article 18 of its Covenant. It contains the texts of treaties and records of subsequent treaty actions published in 205 volumes of the League of Nations Treaty Series. Part of the United Nations Treaty Collection (UNTC).
Digital collection (full-text) of 260 League of Nations documents with a focus on three areas: the founding of the League, international statistics published by the League, and the League's work toward international disarmament. Most of the publications in this digital collection concern disarmament.
The establishment of the Permanent Court of International Justice (PCIJ), the predecessor of the International Court of Justice, was provided for in the Covenant of the League of Nations. It held its inaugural sitting in 1922 and was dissolved in 1946.
